Wetpour surfacing consists of resin bonded rubber granuals, laid in varying thicknesses to provide protection for varying falling heights. 

Benefits include :  impact absorbing, continuous seamless surface, fast draining, year round use, wheelchair friendly, durable, maintenance free.

Wetpour is available in black & colour, and can include any custom graphics or shapes. 

A suitable sub base is required of either existing tarmac or concrete, or a compacted stone base can be installed in existing soft areas.

Our playground matting is perfect for use in your playground. They allow the grass to grow back through the mat giving maximum protection to the children whilst keeping the grass looking fresh and green!

Playground Mats are a recycled rubber safety surface used all over the UK by councils, schools, stable owners and general domestic users. They protect the ground from becoming churned up which can create a boggy and muddy mess.

Grassmats can provide fall height protection up to 3m high.

Play bark is installed loose into a raised or excavated pit and laid in varying depths to suit the equipment contained within it.

Manufactured from Premium British Bark, it is 100% natural and contains no additives or colouring, it is reddy brown in colour with a rich pine odour.

Resin bound rubber mulch has the appearance of bark or rubber mulch but is bonded together with resin which prevents overspill or depressions appearing in high wear areas. 

The resin bonded rubber bark requires minimal groundwork preparation and can be installed directly onto grass or existing hard standing surfaces such as tarmac.

Like play bark surfacing, rubber mulch is provided in loose form into a raised or excavated pit.

Our Mulch is a durable and environmently friendly safety surface containing 90% recycled rubber that enhances the green credentials and the reduces the carbon footprint of any project. It is also available in a wide range of colours similar to wetpour rubber.

Our play sand can be used as a safety surface or as an interactive play element in any playground. It is a washed, screened and moist silica play sand and is ideal for play areas and play pits.

The play sand is also fire suppressant (non flammable), will not stain or discolour clothing, natural and additive free.

Matchplay is an excellent multi sport surface and offers a more natural feel compared to other artificial products. Being sand dressed, after installation the performance characteristics are evident from day one and play can continue almost immediately.

The built in cushion layer makes for medium-paced play and is easy on player’s leg joints. Inlaid lines can be permanently added. High level porosity, low maintenance and all weather usage are an added value, which in return maximises playing time and increases potential revenue.

Conqueror is a third generation (3G) outdoor sports surface filled with sand and rubber that is suitable for hockey as well as football. 3G surfaces look like grass and offers similar playing characteristics. The rubber infill allows studded boots to be used for extra grip, in addition to providing extra shock absorption.

Installed over our Matchpad shock absorbing underlay, Conqueror offers extra comfort and improved playing performance. 

Meets FIH, FIFA 1 Star equivalent IATS performance standard and EN15330 Part 1

The Type 3 polymeric surfacing material is commonly installed in schools and is designed to have a high slip resistance rating for netball. The polymeric system is made up of EPDM rubber crumb granules which are mixed together with a binder and then laid onto a macadam base. An anti slip paint coating is then applied to give the stable playing characteristics and the rubber EPDM polymeric surface gives the sports surface a cushioned underfoot feel. Line markings can also be applied to the polymeric surfacing contrasting coloured non slip paint to distinguish between the different sports which the facility will be used for.

Macadam surfacing is commonly used to surface our Multi-use games area pitches, and also to provide a hard standing playing surface is playgrounds, schools and nurseries. 

AXO leisure can provide full ground preparation required to lay macadam surfacing. It can also be applied as a top coat on an existing tarmac surface, giving the area a new lease of life.
